Seems like I'm not the only person with this issue. I checked my order history and it's still there, order completed. It's still on my device. I just cannot load it at all without seeing the same error message over and over. I tried everything to fix this issue and it's very annoying paying $60 for a game that I suddenly can't play. I checked my bank statements and nothing was refunded back, what's going on?

If anyone has any serious answers that would be great, even if I wanted to refund the game I can't now!

These steps can help you, give it a try.
Check for updates on Windows Update, update everything including optional/additional updates.
1. Logout from Xbox app and Microsoft Store app
2. Look for the Xbox app and Microsoft Store app in the Windows menu, right-click, click app settings and then click terminate, restore and reset. Do this for the game too.
3. Clear the store cache type ''wsreset'' in the Windows bar, run as admin, and wait for the screen to close and open the store automatically.
4. Open the Microsoft Store app, click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner>downloads updates>get updates and update everything.
5. Restart your PC, log in to both apps and see if that solves the problem.

Didn't play that game before but I do miss how in Forza Horizon 3, you could play your own music. Now with Forza Horizon 4, they removed that feature. It is ok because the game is still fun!

I have a similar issue with Forza. I bought the $1 promotional month and was charged $5.26 on 8/5/2019 presumably for the second month. Haven't played on the Xbox app since the first month of my subscription and just tried launching the game. I get "When
you got a refund on Forza Horizon 4 it was removed from your device." I never refunded my subscription, but it seems the $5.26 charge was refunded as I opened my Xbox app... My Paypal is legit, and I have more than enough money to cover it in my bank account.
My Windows is fully updated, I have two different apps to launch games from and neither work. My purchased games do work however, and I'm not able to re-purchase game pass anywhere.

Hi I recently got Forza horizon 4 on the Xbox game pass. When my month expired I deleted the game. If I get Forza horizon 4 on disk, will my progress from the digital copy I got with the Xbox game pass transfer to the disk copy?

Look for the purchase of the game in "Minecraft for Windows" or "Minecraft Java" version through your purchase history

If you locate it and the status is "Completed", make sure you're signed in to the account that purchased the game in the Microsoft Store, the Xbox app, the Xbox Console Companion app, and the Minecraft launcher.

Then try these steps with the Microsoft Store and the Minecraft launcher.

Select Start > Settings > Apps > Apps & features.

Apps & features in Settings

Select the More icon next to the app you want to fix.

Select the Advanced options link under the name of the app (some apps don't have this option). On the page that opens, select Repair if it's available. If it isn't available or doesn't fix the problem, select Reset.
