    When you block a Microsoft Online account, do you suspend any recurring billing?


    I signed up for Xbox Game Pass 09 Feb and within 2 weeks my Microsoft account has been blocked for ‘detected suspicious activity’. Unfortunately because I have a new phone number and Xbox, I have been unsuccessful in any account recovery attempts as I need to do the online recovery form and it keeps getting rejected due to the information not being good enough. Firstly I’m frustrated for not being able to access a service I’m paying for, secondly I’d like to know since you’ve blocked my account do you also stop any recurring billing? Because I have no way of turning it off other than not leaving enough money in my bank account which I shouldn’t have to do.

    When does GamePass renew?

    Hey there Sage,

    When you do sign up for any subscription the billing date is set on the day you first buy something with your account. From that day on, that's the date you will be billed to the payment option that was selected.
