When Xbox One is released in Norway/Sweden, will I still get to keep the games I downloaded ...

I live in Norway where Xbox One hasn't been released yet. I just got an Xbox One from abroad. I had to choose a region, and since Norway wasn't the option, I chose USA.

But I've heard that once Xbox One releases in Norway / Sweden etc, we who downloaded games through the Marketplace as if we were located in the USA, will lose access to the games we purchased through the Marketplace, once we change our region to our real
countries, Norway / Sweden / Denmark etc.

Is this true ? If so, I obviously don't want to purchase games off Marketplace. But since XB1 isn't released here, getting a hold of XB1 games in stores is hard.

And if you lose access to your games do you also lose your achievements earned, your stats, etc ?

Xbox Live Gold Free Game June 2014 - Region error- Dark Souls

Greetings!

Is anyone here in Sweden having problems trying to download the Dark Souls 1 free game from this region? I keep getting an error saying that my console does not match the game region. My console is set to Sweden, my Xbox live account region is set to Sweden
but I cannot download this game. I have not had a problem as of yet with downloading games each month from this region. Does anyone know exactly what region is Dark Souls supposed to be played in or can be downloaded in via Marketplace?

Non-Swedish Xbox owner living in Sweden

Hi,

I currently live and work in Sweden full time, but I don't speak any Swedish. Somehow this affects my Xbox playing, because I have to set my console to USA or UK in order to get all the menus in Xbox home and in the game to be displayed in English. When
I have my region set to Sweden but language in English, the games still boot in Swedish.

With the region set to a place where I am not living, I cannot enjoy any of the entertainment features of the Xbox. I would really like to use my Xbox as a media streamer, especially since I have Kinect. Is there anyway around this?

Det var da noen få spill som ikke virket på xbox 360 når jeg byttet tilbake regionen.

Men alle spillene på xbox one virket uavhengig av hvilken region jeg har valgt.

Har også kjøpt spill på den britiske storen, som virker helt fint når jeg byttet til USA igjen.

Så jeg tror du trygt kan kjøpe de spillene du har lyst på

I have changed the region from the Norwegian to the Us and vice-versa on
xbox.com, so I could buy cheapergames and download American apps on the xbox
360.

It was then that a few games that did not work on the xbox 360 when I changed back the
region.

But all the games on the xbox one seemed regardless of what region I
have chosen.

Have also purchased games on the British storen, that works just fine when I
switched to the United Statesagain.

So I think you can safely buy the games you'd like]
