When Xbox Game Pass becomes world-wide?

does not matter if a country is in the EU or not, it is still up to the respective countries within the EU if they allow the full service or not. plus the difference in prices across eastern Europe and the west means having to geo fence the service so richer nations can't access the poorer nations prices.

I understand having the service partially available, e.g. some games cannot be sold / purchased / provided in certain countries. But Xbox Consoles is selling across Europe, the games are sold across Europe, but only a handful (I assume most population dense) of countries have Game Pass service available.

Doesn't make sense to me.

About governments not allowing the service. I'm guessing it's an issue to work through, and I understand that some countries wouldn't have the service as an exception for the country's laws and tax complexity. But EU countries? Cmon

Neflix restricts movies / tv series available, not the whole service

Huh Netflix's has restrictions even more then xbox or sony

because only certain countries allow Microsoft services with unrestricted access. there are also countries that have embargo's against them so no US company can operate there, also trade differences the list goes on and on.

You may want to ask each countries governments why they won't allow the services.

It can also be down to how tax is worked out and how much. the many many reasons that can block services is too great to list.
