When will Xbox reslove the issue with FIFA 21 Dual Entitlement?

No as they are both dual entitlement titles only

To play on both consoles you need the xbox one version or the ultimate edition of FIFA 2023 since the dual entitlement for 2022 ended with FIFA 2023 release

If you bought the ultimate edition you must goto the dual entitlement site on EA sports website and fill out the form

If you bought a Series X, you'll just use the same disc in the console to get the upgraded version.

In FIFA 23, cross-play will be available for players on the same platform generation. PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Stadia, and PC versions of FIFA 23 will be cross-play compatible with one another, and PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of FIFA 23 will be cross-play compatible with one another.

Indeed you will need to buy the Xbox one version to be able to play with your friends.

Another option can be to buy FIFA 23 Ultimate Edition which comes with Dual Entitlement.

If I understand you you played a few hours on the full game on friday

If so then you don't qualify as the limit is 2hours or 14 days whixhever coma first

This applies to all digital consoles

Yes you get a free upgrade but disc games remain disk games you must have the disk to validate ownership meaning it doesn't apply since you can't validate ownership and Ea dual entitlement only applies to 2021 titles and expire when the next year titles comes out so 2021 would expire when Madden 22 comes out etc

In your case if the same rules apply your 2020 it would've expired when 21 came out

And the free upgrade does NOT apply to all games even sony discontinued it for first party titles

It's upto the individual parties

There is no dual.entitlement for Madden 2020

It only started with FIFA 21

And applied to Madden 2021 except it expired in august

But applies to 2022 now

As mentioned op.the free.upgrade is upto.the publishers but in your case it would've had to have.been the disk upgrade which since you have a series S It doesn't apply

You can buy madden 2022 and get that free dual entitlement

With the exception of dual entitlement which is exclusive to ea 2021 and newer games next gen upgrades stay with the same media
