When will there be a digital option for games you have on dics and trade in for a code

Hello Thomas, here in this community the procedures are more focused on gameplay issues on Xbox consoles and PC, unfortunately we have no way of knowing or speculating if one day this will happen.

Right, but you still purchased the dics to install. even though it was hard based you still had a disc to purchase. Also, if it was all digital still they probably wouldnt be offering this trade in deal

Seems simple enough. If you buy a disc for the 360, when you trade it in you should have the option of getting the Xbox One disc or a digital download code.

You do know that installing is no longer mandatory right?

Unfortunately there's not even the option to do a digital licence trade, the only real option you'd have is to trade your physical disks in at a shop that allows such things, get a small cut of the money, and then try getting the game you want.
