When will the site be updated so that we can use balance or purchase FREE games?

So the title says it all!!! The site must be updated ASAP! We need to buy things from xbox.com especially now that the xbox one games with gold is out!! When will the site be fixed? It's been 10 months and no reply from an official microsoft spokesman!

Is there something you need help or support with? It's against the forum rules to advertise your feedback links in a thread. The best thing for you to do is to put a link in your forum signature straight to your feedback / suggestion list or to your profile
on the feedback site.

When will the site be updated so that we can use balance to purchase games? It's been almost a year and there is no progress on this thing! We will definitely want this feature even when the Xbox One comes out in more countries because we do not have access
to our consoles all the time! There is also a thread in Xbox Feedback and nothing has been done! Please do something we want this feature!

I understand your frustration. Unfortunately you need to have a valid credit card tied to your account in order to purchase items through the website.

Remember this is the support section of the forums, and your post seems more feedback related. It would be better to post it here (forums.xbox.com/.../default.aspx)
so the right people see it and can do something.

Not one of those support sections is a "Bug" reporting section. So are you calling this a "feature"?

I just purchased a FREE Xbox One game on the website without a valid credit card. Why can you not do the same for Xbox 360? (yes, that is a question). So the "question" again, just re-worded is When will this BUG for Xbox 360 be fixed?

The Xbox One site will work for this as it accepts the MSA (Microsoft Account) as a valid payment option, it's just the 360 site that's affected by not being able to use MSA funds.

 

I have tried multiple times to buy something for Xbox One. It DOES NOT work all the time! Seriously. Sometimes it asks for credit card, other times will download just fine. Anyway, I believe that this is not a feature and it should not be treated like this.
It's either a bug, or a feature that has been removed and in any case, your customers SHOULD know what's going on! You haven't confirmed that this issue will be, or will not be fixes. It's a shame for a company like Microsoft that they can't sort it out for
almost a year now.
