When will the price for digital games be cheaper than $60?

If they want more people to buy digital games they need a price tag of $30 to $40 instead of $60. My example COD Ghost, the worst game ever made is not worth $60, it should be 30 or 40, it is not even worth that. Xbox needs to lower the price if they want
to go digital, the consumer needs a reason to buy digital. Make it cheaper than the store prices or online store prices.

While I agree the price for Digital is too high, I think the problem is that when people think "Digital" they usually think "Steam sales". Look at brand new AAA games launching on Steam - they're usually £30 or £40ish. It takes a while for them to start
dropping in price, and usually more than a year or two before you'll start seeing them at crazy prices like £4.99.

All I'm saying is, don't always expect digital to be incredibly cheap - no matter what platform you're on. Steam sales have got people thinking digital always has to be super cheap. It doesn't, and it isn't. Though it definitely should be at least £10 cheaper
than retail, in my opinion.

are you digital or physical this gen?

Out of 13 games I have, 4 are digital. I find physical copies are almost always cheaper - a lot cheaper, so it's a no brainer to buy them rather than digital. The digital games i have bought have been half price apart from DA:I and cheaper than the physical
disc.

If digital content is the future and supposed to reduce cost then why are digital console games still full price? PC gamers pay $50 while console gamers pay $60, and console games are inferior to PC. Games also get cheaper on PC just weeks after release
while some console games stay full price for years. $60 for a console game, plus Xbox Live, online passes and more expensive DLC = Xbox more expensive than any other platform. All I see is the cost getting higher not lower. 2 year old CoD games on Live are

Hate to break it to you that isn't how the market works. Digital is $60 bucks cause of discs and disc have stayed at $60 because of digital. We are talking about steam prices. $5-$30 because no disc keeping the the price up. Your game would have been cheaper
or same price as if you bought it at $60 and traded it in a week later at thirty or less. Logic it worked for the vulcans.
