when will steam go on xbox

steam games will not work on Xbox, people don't understand what they're looking at. Xbox games are protected by DRM and the hardware is very different than a PC. Games are expecting things that are on a PC board that are not on Xbox.

People don't understand what they're looking at, if this is a real thing, it's probably likewhen you go on Amazon prime they will sell you things like HBO subscriptions or Apple TV that will then integrate with your Amazon prime. You're looking at something very similar more than likely to try to unify your game collection

There have been no official announcements regarding being able to play Steam games on Xbox.

Steam should recognise it as a standard Xbox controller, and accept inputs based on what was mapped in the Xbox Accessories app.

Go into your Steam settings, go to Controller, and ensure 'Enable Steam Input for Xbox controllers' is enabled. From there, it should work in almost any game.
