    I recently bought an orginal Xbox game called robotech battlecry. it was originally devolped by harmony gold for the ps2, orginal xbox and GameCube. I understand that the game is backwards compatible on the Xbox 360 but I would also like to see this game become backwards compatible on the Xbox one and series x/s as well. it's a super awesome and fun game.

    Hello Danny, sorry to hear you're missing the game.

    I have checked the list of backwards compatible titles that are available and unfortunately Robotech is not listed. I'm afraid though that Xbox has stated that no more games would be added to the backwards compatible list as they had reached the limit of titles that were allowed.

    If a game is based on movies, tv, music etc. it’s almost certain it will not return once the license expires

    That's right, the last update was November 2007 and Robotech: Battlecry was the only one to be included in the BC list.

    If it's not backward compatible then it's not backward compatible and never will be as they stopped updating the emulator years ago. The only Robotech game that is backward compatible is Battlecry.

    There is no xbox one series x

    The series consoles are a completely separate from.xbox one

    You just Confuse people by saying it

    Ita xbox series s /x thats it

    When talking about system requirements

    Xbox one games work with xbox one games there is no requires xbox one s or x

    It's just xbox one

    Now with series games physical games are only compatible with series x

    This does not include xbox one x or s

    Digital games are compatible with series s or x but must be stored on nvme storage card or internal drive
