There was a notice on the website a few days ago explaining that the refunds are taking longer.

Microsoft Xbox Refunds may take several business days, it depends on which payment method you used.

It can take at least 3 to 5 business days after the refund is approved to receive a refund, and in some cases longer depending on the bank.

Were you able to request a refund and has been approved? If yes, Once the refund has been approved and already stated as "refunded" on your order history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), it will now depend on your bank on when they will credit back the money but it usually takes 5-7 business days.

If you haven't been able to request a refund yet, you can try to request a refund by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders and then copy the order number. Once you have it simply go to the refund webform link here:

In the image above it says that the funds have been refunded (this is written almost immediately after the green tick next to the return), but at the same time I made a second return, since the child bought by mistake, but it does not say that the funds have been refunded, although about 4 hours have already passed

hahah same problem here , i refunded a game and its approved with no email saying thats its refunded and also the game is still playable now even with the refund it approved , but my guess here is the refund system is bugged 100% because the refund isn't going through , the status of the game is "completed" on microsoft order history instead of "refunded" , so yeah xD
