    When Trying to Launch Game on PC App the Shortcut has an Incorrect Path


    Hello I recently installed FH5. I installed it on my D drive like I have with other games. Whenever I try and launch the game I get an error saying that the path does not exist. It seems to think that the game is on my C drive even though it is installed on my D drive. It does not matter if I try and launch the game through the app itself or the desktop shortcut I get the same error. I have installed other games onto my D drive and they all work fine without this error. Is there any way to change the pathing of the shortcut so I do not get this error?

    Hi there Patacade welcome to the community forum! Christopher here, an Xbox fan just like you and has been on Xbox for years already. I would really love to make your day by helping you out. Tons of users, including me, are having issues with FH5, specifically when we install it on an EHDD, there's no official solution but to install it on the main C: but, some users have reported solving the iisue uninstalling and installing the app! So I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

    Sadly they said that this is an microsoft/xbox problem and there’s nothing they can do. Thanks for your help though.

    As I said, a lot of users are reporting this issue with only that troubleshooting working for some! I suggest contacting the Forza Team to see if there's an official solution! https://support.forzamotorsport.net/hc/en-us/re... let's hope they have one!

    Hello Christopher. Thanks for the response. Unfortunately this did not work for me. I uninstalled and reinstalled the app along with the game and it still gave me the same error. Thank you for trying though. Hopefully I can find a solution. Luckily for me I can just play it on my xbox but I would still prefer to play it on PC.
