When starting the Talos Principle, I only see a black screen and the game can't be played (PC)

I don’t use an xbox controller plugged in at all, I only use mouse and keyboard

In searching other forums for this issue, I came upon a thread where a number of users resolved this issue by disconnecting their Xbox One controller from the PC, launching the game, then reconnecting it. Assuming you are using an Xbox controller, could
you give that a try?

I've tried all of those solutions. Windows is completely up to date, all my drivers are up to date, I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, I know that my system easily passes the recommended specs of the game, nothing is working. Every other game I have
installed both on the xbox app and on other apps has always worked flawlessly, the Talos Principle is the only exception. Just to cover my bases here are my system specs:

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

MOBO: Gigabyte B450 Aorus M

GPU: Radeon RX 580

RAM: 16gb Corsair Vengeance 3000 Mhz

I started playing The Talos Principle a few days ago and the game has really made me kill my head to solve the puzzles, so if video games can help during this quarantine,the answer is yes in my case, stimulating the brain.
