When you select Feedback it will automatically grab data from whatever device you're using and send it to us for further investigation, just be sure to include a description of your issue .

When you experience issues like this, first, be sure to download the Xbox (beta) app, then select Feedback from the dropdown in the top left corner and send us a snapshot of data from your device. This helps is investigate and diagnose these kinds of issues.

As this is the beta, I would follow the default guidelines for feedback of the beta app:

1. Open the TestFlight app on your device.
2. From the Apps list, tap the app.
3. Tap Send Beta Feedback.
4. In the share dialogue, tap Include Screenshot to choose a screenshot. If you don’t want to send an attachment, tap Don't Include Screenshot.
5. Add your comments (up to 2,000 characters), and optionally enter your email address if you were invited with a public link.
6. Tap Submit.

When you say you can't send messages from which device are you having issues?

How long has it been since the last time you were able to send a message?

Have you tried sending from the xbox app, from a PC or xbox.com?
