when people put "%LL" in xbox party chat it crashes pc players

After making sure everything is up to date and being on the "22H2" people can still send "%LL" in party chat and it will crash my whole game bar kicking me from the party.

Just so that I am clear when you are trying this in party chat? In game chat?

You can hear the other players in the chat but they can not hear you?

Are you starting the party through the stream on the xbox itself? Or are you starting the party through the xbox app on the pc itself?

These are two different things.

I personally have noticed that if I try and join a party through the Xbox itself and not the xbox app I can hear the other people but they can not hear me. If I join the party or start a party and have people join through the xbox app on the PC then it works
fine.

So try that and see if that fixes your problem.

THIS. Dice put their heart and soul into the pc build. IF they can't get that right on the best of hardware, god help us deal with what we are getting on the consoles.

It's amazing how many "Veteran Gamers" weren't smart enough to figure out Party Chat.

Start or Join a party.

Then (the crucial step in the process that most people overlook is) TURN PARTY CHAT ON.

Now people in your party can hear you.

I know what you're thinking. "Why do I have to turn Party Chat on? That's stupid! Why couldn't it just work exactly the same as the XBox 360"?

Well... do you remember when everyone was crying for Microsoft to support Hardcore Gamers?

Well Hardcore Gamers play the game to win.

So your party joins a Team Based game where it's probably going to be in your best interest to communicate with the other players?

You simply Snap to Party Chat and turn Party Chat off. Now you are in GAME CHAT and are able to chat with everyone in the game... but you're still in your own party.

And if you don't wanna talk to your Team in the game? Then stay in Party Chat.

Party chat is actually better designed than most people think and it's frightening how many people couldn't figure out that they had to turn it on.

Finally, for Skype... put in your friend's gamertag and you're there.

If they don't have a ONE then put in their email address.
