When one Xbox on the LAN turns off it kicks the other from Xbox Live

I have tried changing both Xbox’s to manual static IPs but it happens all the time. I don’t understand why turning off an Xbox would kick the other from Live and their internet connection?

    Thanks

    :)

Cannot connect to Xbox Live while watching Netflix on the Wii...HELP!

For some reason everytime someone in the house watches Netflix on the Wii it kicks me offline from Xbox live. I have tested my theory and when I turn the Wii off it lets me connect to Xbox Live but as soon as you turn the Wii on and watch Netflix it will
kick you from Xbox Live and will not let me connect again until I quit watching Netflix on the Wii or turn the Wii completely off, can someone please help me out or find an answer for me??

  3. Your network is good but there are som XBOX service issues

    Hey there AliceLobo!

The other thread that you had posted on was pretty old so I thought it would be best to create a new one.

I was gonna ask, when you say it kicks you, do you mean that it disconnects you from live, crashes to the home screen or turns off the console completely?

If it disconnects you from live, I would try the steps on our support site entitled "My Xbox One is getting randomly disconnected from Xbox
    Live
" and see if that clears up the issue.

If it crashes whileyou're playing back to the home screen, then try the steps here “My Xbox One game won’t start or freezes during gameplay”.

If the console turns off completely while you're navigating around the console, Troubleshoot Xbox One unexpectedly turning off.

Depending on what's going on, try those steps I suggested please, and let us know how that helps in resolution of your issue.

    Thanks!

Connected to internet and network, but won't connect to xbox live with a wired connection.

Hello miss portia, i have more info that might help out, i dont know if this means anything to you but i can now connect to live but the connection is bad, but my brother has an xbox aswell although he is on a completely different internet line so we wont
interfere with each others consoles, but when he turns his xbox on it kicks me off live and when i turn mine on it will kick him off, even though we are on two completely different internet connections. Hopefully this info helps.

When one Xbox connects to live the other gets kicked off.

The one thing i can thing of is maybe have you tried port forwarding yet?

When one Xbox connects to live the other gets kicked off.

    Greetings TurbinalWisard6!

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your modem and router and include any troubleshooting steps you have tried so far.

Access your router and make sure only UPnP (Universal Plug and Play) is enabled. Leave Port Forward or DMZ on this router turned off.

If you haven't already, power off the modem and router for two minutes. Turn on the modem and wait one minute of it to connect properly. Now turn on the router and wait another minute.

Start with one of the console's and restore Xbox network settings to factory defaults. Press "B" on your controller and run a connection test to Xbox LIVE (Test Xbox LIVE Connection). Make sure it can connect properly to LIVE. Now turn on the second Xbox and
do the same procedure as previous.

How to restore Xbox network settings

    1. Press the Guide button on your controller, go to Settings, and then select System Settings.
    2. Select Network Settings.
    3. Select Wired Network if you are prompted to do so.
    4. Select the Additional Settings tab.
    5. Select Restore to Factory defaults.

Post back and let us know how it goes.
