When New OSU1, For fynally resolve a lot of problems

I've ran into the E101 error a couple of times when offline updating and it tends to happen when the osu1 file is a lower version than the one listed on your boot menu.

The OSU1 update is the one recommended for the E101 error. Os version 10.0.1734.4056 went live 05-07-2018 so it should be in the osu1 file on Xbox support, it's worth a shot if you haven't tried it with that version. Otherwise it's a trip back to the factory
to have the drive sorted.

Sorry i can't think of anything else you can try other than using a different USB drive or changing which slot you put it in when you try the update.

Solved: turns out the osu1 download was dated 5/11/2018 and DID not yet include the new build. I re-downloaded and the new osu1 has a created date of 2/37/2018 and worked like a charm. Your E101 version hint led me to check for a newer download. Microsoft
please coordinate your file availability. I am sure for some people this would have resulted in an unnecessary trip back to the repair facility.

So glad you got it sorted. I'am quite surprised the boot menu doesn't have a hardware test feature or backs up firmware so you can revert to a previous working version, most PC's can do it why can't the Xbox it would save a lot of time and hassle especially
as a lot of people run into problems like this.

Hello. Can someone tell me what is the difference between FactoryReset and OSU1 files? Why FactoryReset has only 20 Mb and there's only one file there, while OSU1 is 6,5 GB around and there are lot of files?

That's the problem though. I follow those instructions, and the OSU1 isn't the latest update! The version of the OSU1 is what I currently have on my xbox. Then it asks to update. I've already tried this.

Yes I was following the steps, but when I came to "Step 4: Download the Offline System Update file (OSU1)" and was to download the osu1 file, I found the link(www.xbox.com/.../osu1) just
didn't work. So where can I download the osu1 file?

I don't think that nobody download uncorrupted osu1 file recently. I downloaded more than 50 times to download osu1 file with wired, wireless from home or work, but they all corrupted. I jut wait for Xbox post new osu1 file..
