When is the open beta for diablo 4?

I pre-ordered diablo 4 and was under the impression that I would get access to the open beta from which I heard was going on right now but when I selected pre-installed and then tried to launch the game after it finished, I get the too early error message. If the beta is going on now , how do I access it then?

There is mo open beta

That's at a later date even on the sales page it mentions this

Currently there is a friend's and family closed beta but Activision employees only

Open.betas are only a short time other 2-7 days depending on the dev and usually closer to the launch date which the devs have already mentioned and on the Diablo 4 details

I think the way they have it set up makes you think you will have access right when you buy it. I had to find this before finding anything on an open beta date. If its that close then why the hell even offer it? I mean if you do the 4 days early access then what's the point of having a beta for 3 days or what ever???? There is almost no information about the open beta other then the offer.l So ya..... seem like a money grab to get their money early to me.

The date is unlikely to be announced before the game has a release date

You are either a non pre-order customer or you are using the Diablo 4 install

You have ro download the open beta if you are an pre-order customer

non pre-order customers can't join till next weekend in the open beta
