When is the next Xbox console due to be released?

The first Xbox was released in 2001, it was then quickly replaced by the Xbox 360 in 2005, after only 4 years in service. Then the Xbox One was released in 2013, an 8 year gap this time between generations. The Xbox Series X|S was released in 2020, 7 years this time. The Xbox Series X|S has been out of stock in my area for every year since 2020. Every local game store in town has been selling "lightly used" Xbox Series X|S consoles at $600 to $800, and that is console only, nothing extra included, and not even guaranteeing that it works or offering to test it (no box, no cables, no controllers, nothing). Now before you say: "Order it online!" Let me tell you this: You can order it from various stores online but you may not be getting it from the store itself, you might actually be ordering from some small time seller who will send you a used or broken console and not a brand new one. Most online stores have become marketplaces where anyone can sign up to make an account and sell the same products the store itself sells. It can also be stolen through the mail by delivery service employees. Just look at the Steam Deck thefts that have been occurring. And now, three years into the life cycle of the Xbox Series X|S, I'd hate to buy one now and find out that in just one more year the next Xbox console is being announced and all the games I purchased on the Xbox Series X|S and on the Xbox One are all incompatible. So tell me, when is the next Xbox console set to be released?

It won't be for a long time, the revisions haven't even come out yet.

You can find all of these consuls at retail very easily, so I don't know where yyoure shopping That is a charging above retail for used systems without cables or controllers

I highly recommend only buying from authorized retailer Square you'll get full warranty support as well as know what you're getting.

Most people are expecting an official announcement for the next Xbox at E3 2013 and if this happens the console would probably release in fall or winter of 2013. All of this is just speculation so the next Xbox can take even longer than that to release
but if you can wait at least an year then you can do that. If not there are many sales on Xbox 360 consoles in major retail stores such as Target, Walmart, Best Buy, etc, due to the holiday season. Good luck!

The next gen games will be out when the next generation starts which will be when the ps5 and xbox scarlett is released.

The Xbox one X and the ps4 pro are not next gen consoles and they have never been advertised as such.

They are mid generation upgrades.
