I suggest uninstalling the app completely! Everytime that it tried to give me a hard time I do this and it works wonders! Here are the steps!

hey, when i download forza horizon 5 on my pc on the xbox app it says error when it reaches 100%. I have tried re installing the app, repairing it resetting it etc and i still encounter the same issue. Please help me as i have been waiting since november to play this game!

Yes I download the Xbox app from this xbox website https://www.xbox.com/en-US/apps/xbox-app-for-pc.

I installed the app using their xboxinstaller.exe installer.

I think its installed in C drive, the installer just run itself and never once allow me to select which drive to install the app.

On the question of game bar download issue, I found that when I first notice xbox app uninstall itself, the "Xbox game bar" would not work.

Every time I press Win+G a window would pop up saying "you'll need a new app to open this ms-gamingoverlay link" and it make me go look it up at

microsoft store. Even when I have Xbox app downloaded Xbox game bar would not work.

When I try to download it from the store, it would get stuck on download.

The current Xbox Console Companion on Windows advertises the "new Xbox App for Windows 10 PC". I have downloaded the installer via the link, and run it, however it does not install. It just shows the progress bar and "Making things awesome...", but nothing
happens. I have re-downloaded the installer, and trusted it on my Firewall but I cannot get anything to happen.

Has anyone else had this issue?

To install the app, you first need to uninstall the beta xbox app from your pc and then run the installer.
