When in Minecraft Windowed mode desktop cursor is active as well as game cursor

Because this is specifically an issue with Minecraft, connecting with Mojang support is the best way to receive help with this issue, you can do so here: Submit a request – Home. I do see that you linked the current existing bug, and still recommend submitting a request with them - the idea is that the more people they have that say impacts, the higher a priority it can become. I will also assume you have tried the offered solutions there to no avail or do not feel comfortable doing registry edits.

You can try editing the tablet mode:

1. Go to the Start Menu > Settings
   
2. Go to System > Tablet Mode
   
   1. When I sign in: Never use Tablet Mode
      
   2. When I use this device as a tablet: Don't switch to tablet mode.
      

I saw that this helps with apps minimize when clicking out of them, though it may or may not solve the issue, it' worth checking. Also just to be clear, since I am a Microsoft Employee I can only really help with Windows/Xbox - anything that comes to Minecraft, as an in-game issue, or issues with game operation, I have to redirect you to Mojang.

You are not supposed to see your mouse cursor when Minecraft is full screen. You are only supposed to see the mouse cursor when the game is paused or if you are in any kind of inventory screen.

If you would like to see your mouse cursor while in-game, I recommend that you run the game in Windowed mode.

If you are referring to the in-game crosshair and you are not able to see that, then I recommend that you uninstall and reinstall the game onto your computer. If the issue persists after that, then please reach out to Mojang and submit a ticket using the link below.

I was having this issue as well, rebooting, clearing cache, nothing worked. I opened the edge app after reading your comment and moved the cursor to the bottom right of the screen, completely out of view, and then opened forza. The cursor is gone. This should be a temp fix with a more direct fix coming soon, but I am glad that this work around effectively solves the problem.

I just want to add to this method. To get the cursor to completely disappear I had go into full screen mode on the edge app and then move the cursor to a corner. Without doing it in full screen mode I could still see the cursor in the corner.

To be honest Xbox consoles typically don't allow you to control or manipulate the cursor while playing games in full-screen mode. The cursor is usually managed by the console's system software and is not accessible or adjustable during gameplay.

Thanks! I'm on Windows 10 with the latest updates. Some time ago I disabled the DVR because I was annoyed that anytime I opened a game the popup shows. Now if I go to Settings and then Gaming and I activate "Record
game clips, screenshots, and broadcast using Game bar" the cursor turn on but nothing else happen and the hotkey Windows + G dosn't work too. Also if I close the Settings window and I re-open the cursor turns off by itself
