    When I try to type a messages, there's no keyboard


    When I select someone and open the send message option, no keyboard appears to let me type a message. I can send voice messages but no text. I can do voice chat, invite to/join parties, and do all of the other things that would go away when banned. This
    has been going on for close to two months now.

    disconnect wireless to install game, now I can't reconnect to wifi

    You didn't read the first sentence of my post. Please read message other than subject heading. Disconnecting worked, but now I can't reconnect. There's a bug where the virtual keyboard doesn't appear. I can't reconnect to wifi if I can't type password.

    how to pull up key board from microsoft to look on internet

    The keyboard shows up automatically when you select the address bar to type in the web address or selecting a search bar like bing or google, or any other box that wants you to type in it. If the keyboard does not show up, you could try connecting a keyboard
    to the Xbox and use that instead.

    If you are doing something that is not directly supported by Microsoft, then it is possible to get banned, however I don't know of any bans for this reason.

    note that a usb keyboard works fine in the dashboard when typing in messages and other stuff.

    If you are trying to use a mouse/keyboard in a game that doesn't support it, then yes, it is possible.

    You can use the SmartGlass app as a keyboard when typing messages, does make it a bit easier.

    pop up keyboard on xbox when using edge?

    I meant that when u type using keyboard on xbox edge browser a pop on screen keyboard also appears which blocks the screen i was asking if their was a way to remove that pop up keyboard when using a keyboard

    Hi, Currently keyboards and mice are not fully supported by the Xbox One. this means that mice will not work, and the keyboard can only be used to type messages and codes on the dashboard.
