Would you mind switching from WiFi to a wired connection and see if that makes a difference?

Alternatively, do you have a different network you could try with your console? please note that even a phone's hotspot feature would work for testing purposes.

edge opens when I go to the recreation area and use the open wifi. but when I used the network In my room to where I need to log in it still opens and crashes saying I need to be connected in order to use edge.

My mom says that I need to turn off the wifi router every night but when I turn on my router and I turn on my xbox my xbox won't connect to the wifi so I have to restart my xbox kinda every day so it connect to the wifi and it's really annoying so what can I do to fix it?

Interesting! Does it only not sign you in when you're connected to your phone data instead of wifi? For example, when you're connected to wifi it signs in, but when you have wifi off or not connected, it won't sign you in

On my phone it doesn't matter if I'm on wifi or not. Tapping on sign on crashes the app. My tablet only has wifi. And no issues with the app there.

Something similar to me I cant sign sign in when on wifi but can without so I turn off the wifi sign in try to the wifi back on and it signs me out than says there's no internet idk what's happening
