When I try to log into my youtube profile on xbox, it isn’t available.

Hello. I use youtube primarily on my xbox one x. My google account is set up so that I have a primary profile, and then a separate profile for youtube with all my video preferences and subscriptions. Both of these profiles are under my regular gmail/google account. Whenever I log into youtube on xbox, it only lets me select the primary account profile instead of my youtube -specific profile.

The login proceeds through scanning a qr code, putting in the code on the screen into a webpage and then selecting an account/profile. When I do this, the only account/profile that is available is my primary profile and not my youtube-specific profile.

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Power cycling the xbox did not work

May I know if you already tried to reinstall the app?

Or before that, try power cycling your console
1. Turn off your console by pressing the Xbox button on the front of the console for about 10 seconds, until it shuts down completely.
2. Unplug the console's power cable from the console and from the power outlet. Wait 5 minutes.
Important: Be sure to wait at least 5 minutes. This step resets the power supply.
3. Plug the console power cable back in.
4. Press the Xbox button on your console to turn it on.

Also disconnect your router from power for about 3 minutes. Then connect it again an when everything is working, try again

Hi, I was trying to replicate the problem.
And actually I'm facing the same issue, previously I had my account logged in. Now it is deleted

When I try to sign in via YouTube.com/activate or with the QR code, everything apparently looks good but at the end I receive and error

It seems that the latest YouTube update is the one causing this problem.
In this case the best option is report this problem to the developer (google)

I have tried uninstalling the app, yes. I will try power cycling the console.

For the record, my youtube “sub account” on my google account is a brand account. I guess I made it so I could have a separate youtube account from my main google account…I am not a content creator and while I have a channel I have never uploaded anything.

Could that be the problem?

I got kicked off live while on YouTube app.. even when I try to log into crackle.. tried logging my profile in numerous times even changed my password info.. I hope you get live up and running soon.. There some movies I want to watch.
