When i try to download a game gamepass shuts down

I am having a similar issue to op,

I purchased minecraft xbox one edition when the digital copy first launched and then activated the free Minecraft game download when the “Play together” update was launched. I have been playing the game without issue since until earlier today the game shut
down and was prompted by the error below

“looks like you need to renew Xbox Gamepass

If your subscription is current, try quitting and relaunching the game. If you tried to launch this from a disc, check the disc -- it might be dirty or damaged. (0x803f800e)“

I own the game outside of gamepass and have not been subscribed to gamepass since December 2019.

I have hard reset my xbox, uninstalled the game and reset my xbox bit now the game is not showing in mu library.

tldr: minecraft will no longer work on my xbox due to a gamepass issue, game was owned long before using gamepass.

Sorry to hear it. Please try cancelling the download then hold the power button on the console for 10 seconds till it shuts down. When you restart try downloading the game again. Also, if you are using a wireless connection try an ethernet cable for the
duration of the download.

Yes but not xbox gamepass ultimate as that's xbox one or higher

Keep in mind xbox 360 game servers shut down

When in the future they decide shut down xbox live for the 360, I suggest before they shut down, download your games to your console just to be safe. You can still play them offline and on system link.

Try and remove your profile from the console , then shut everything down , when it's back up , download your profile back to the console....
