    Using credits from a code that I Redeemed

    Hi,

    I am trying to spend some credit that I bought. I can see the credit on my account but when ever I try purchase a game via the xboxlive website it keeps telling me to add a credit card. I am not willing to add my credit card details.

    Please advise how I can spend my credit without adding a credit card onto my account?

    Adding Funds to Microsoft Account

    Currently, I don't have enough funds on my Microsoft account to purchase what I am trying to, and I don't have enough on my card either. Is there any way to add money onto the Microsoft account? I cant seem to find the option. Its only telling me I can pay
    with either my account or my debit card, but I want to use my debit card to add funds to my account. Sorry if this is in another topic.

    And I was just able to create a new account/add my debit card to that account AND see payment options when trying to buy something instead of a greyed out box/redirect. Customer service keeps telling me to call my bank to make sure it's not on their end..
    how can it be on their end when I have ZERO cards tied to the account and am still getting the same issue. How come when I add that card to a different account I have zero issues with it popping up.

    I wish some customer service people didn't have to follow a script and could actually try and get an issue resolved.

    i'm going to try and add a new debit card to the account. for what ever reason it wouldn't even add my last card. always gave me an error code. i did check my billing info. all correct. and i was using a different paypal account with the same address which
    worked fine.

    The card is a capital one card, it was on my account before. And security or not I really don't like that I was able to add it to a friends account with no errors. The PayPal has a debit account and credit account and money in the PayPal balance.

    And I have tried billing.microsoft.com is that any different?

    I am just lost as to why no support agent is able to tell me what is wrong with my account.
