Hi GamebroGuy14! I hope you are well, delighted to be able to offer you my help!

I will mention 3 steps which you can follow to solve this problem:

1) On your PC, go to Xbox.com and select Sign in. If there are problems with your account, the instructions will help you solve them. If you can't get past the login screen, select Forgot my password and follow the instructions.

2) If that didn't work, select Home button > Settings > Time & language. Under date & time, make sure the Set time automatically setting is turned on. Open time and language settings

3) If none of those options work, select Sign in button > Settings > Accounts, then find the Microsoft account you used to sign in to the Xbox app and select Delete. Then go back to the Xbox app and sign in with the Microsoft account you just deleted.

This suggestion simply results in my having two separate Microsoft accounts to choose from to log in on my windows 8 computer. It does not solve the issue of allowing me to view the "xbox games" application with my current xbox live account information,
while logged into a different (primary) Microsoft account.

By chance when you log into your Yahoo and Microsoft accounts are you using the same browser on a Windows machine?

I have this problem when I try to log into my hotmail account on my Windows computer because it's not my primary Window's login. I have to use Chrome/Firefox to log into my secondary accounts.

Ok, tell me if I'm getting this right... When I first setup my computer, I used my main email account, then when I tried to log in on the xbox it automatically logged me in with that Xbox account. The thing is, my main Xbox account I use is under a different
email. Since there's apparently no way to just log out of the xbox app, you're saying I have to create a whole new user for my PC, just so I can use my main Xbox account on the app?

I haven't trie the Beta, but tried the other proposed as follows:

- I tried to log in the Xbox app for mobile (on android phone): log-in successful

- I tried to log in the Xbox app on another computer: log-in successful

- I tried to create another local test user on my computer and the log in to the Xbox app: log-in successful, surpisingly

Considering the above mentioned, I decided to:

- switch my online account (aka Microsoft account) to local account

- I logged out from any MS apps using my MS account (OneDrive, OneNote, Skype) and make sure these will not start, when I start Windows again

- restarted the computer

- logged in with local account

- reset Xbox app to the factory settings

- restarted the computer

- logged in with local account

- started the Xbox app - the behavior of the app was the same as the attempt I made on another computer or while using another local account, until I pressed the "Let's play" button

- The issue is back: Log in window of the Xbox app error code: "0x80070520"

Followed by status in main Xbox app: "It is not possible to log you in at the moment. Please try again later": 0x404

Based on above observed, I would guess, there is some kind of issue with wrongly stored identification (or sort of) of my local account and my online account, resulting in failing to sign in the Xbox app.

Any hints on how to repair this?
