I recommend re-installing the Xbox app from the app store on your tablet. This should install the app with it's most recent version, and then also restart your tablet. When the app reinstalls, it should also force you to sign in again, and try to invite
friends to a party or send a message.

Please sign In on a browser first. Open a browser on your tablet and sign in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com.

And then clear cache and data. To do this please go to your tablet's Settings > Apps > Xbox App.

Tap Storage, then select Clear Cache and Clear Data.

Restart the app and try signing in again.

Next is to uninstall the app from your tablet.

Restart your device, then reinstall the app from the Google Play Store.

Then check permissions. Your Xbox app should have the necessary permissions. Go to Settings > Apps > Xbox App > Permissions, and enable all required permissions.

After that is to update your device and app. Kindly ensure that your Samsung tablet's software and the Xbox app are updated to the latest versions.
