When I switch on the x box 1 s it turns its self off after 5 seconds.

Light comes on then goes dim and switches its self off.

help my xbox wont stay on for more than 5 seconds

my power brick flashes white and orange and when i turn my xbox on it turns its self off again in 5 seconds as if i had done it myself because it still makes the sound but it doesnt turn its self on so its not the sensor

X box one S shutting down after turning on Please help

My X Box One S 1 TB version would automatically shutdown after its turned on. It gives me the start-up beep and in 10 secs its gives me the shutting down beep and turns off. I tried all the checks from power cable to HDMI cable still the problem persists.
It is out of warranty and if any one can confirm its a power-surge issue I will have to replace the power brick inside my X box one S.

Sounds like it may be overheating. Make sure all vents on the console and power supply are free of dust and debris. If that doesn't help try performing a hard reset EXACTLY like this.

Hold the power button on the console for 8 seconds or until the power shuts down completely. Unplug the power cord from the back of the console for 5 minutes. Plug the power cord back in and restart the console.

Then if you are still having the issue contact support and set it up for a repair. Contact Us | Xbox Support

I get this problem a lot.... after turning off the Xbox, switch off the power at the wall for 5 seconds then turn it back on. That works for me....

Not sure what make is best i brought a seagate 5TB usb 3 off amazon for £130.

Really good easy to format just plug it in to the xbox 1 and it dose the rest its self.

Turns on when your xbox is on and turns its self off when you turn your xbox off.

When I switch on the x box 1 s it turns its self off after 5 seconds.
