    Can you have your friends check their settings and set them to allow?

    Press the Xbox button  on your controller to open the guide, and then go to Profile & system > Settings > Account.

    Select Privacy & online safety > Xbox privacy > View details and customize > Communication & multiplayer.

    You can join multiplayer games.

    You can join cross-network play.

    Others can communicate with voice, text, or invites.

    You can communicate outside of the Xbox network with voice & text.

    You can use video for communications.

    Others can see your activity feed.

    Whenever I move my left stick in the home screen it moves extremely fast and goes all over the place, and moves to the bottom of the category that I am in.

    I can’t even invite/join my friends’ parties because I can’t get to the commands that let me do so.

    Cannot See Friend/Invites Minecraft Xbox One LAN

    Also the option to join or invite to game from xbox dashboard is greyed out. I imagine this is because we don't have Xbox live gold, but i guess it could be an error with the game.

    We've also tried sending the invite to each other from each xbox and with multiple worlds, also tried with friends of friends, friends only, and invite only settings.
