When I record clips on my Series S my clips aren’t being fully recorded. It’s set for 45...

We understand that you are having an issue on recording clips. For us to understand the issue we would like to ask more details about it to provide you accurate solution.

To start with please answer the question below.

• Have tried any trouble shooting?
  
• If yes, how far have you done?
  
• Any other factor that may cause the issue?
  

If you have not done with this one, let's try these steps;

• go to Settings > Preferences > Capture & Share ?
  

There is an option there to select how long you want to record your clips... ranging from 5 seconds all the way up to 5 minutes. It's pretty awesome, actually.

Another way to record longer clips is to press the guide button then select and there should be a pop up of choosing a recording time of up to the past 5 minutes.

Same issue. Got a xbox one X , ton of clips storage. Everytime i get a good clip for my page it record 5-8 seconds when i have it set to 45. Tried everything and contacted micosoft. They need to fix this

Hi! My xbox is a Series S, not a Xbox One, but yes, I resseted my Xbox and the problem wasn't fixed.

Is not a setting problem, the settings are all ok, and even sometimes my Xbox records the clips, but the most of the times it doesn't.

Funny story: i changed my capture settings from 45 seconds to 1 minute @ 1080p and... it recorded the full clip. Ive only done one clip so far but it seems a temporary fix is to just change the capture time frame, thats what worked last time. Or it could
just be a fluke and this ONE time it recorded a full clip. Either way i hope this gets fixed someday.
