When I log into minecraft.net, it just instantly logs me back out again. How can I fix this?

1. Double-check your Microsoft account status

Since Minecraft accounts now use Microsoft login, go to account.microsoft.com and sign in. If it works there, it confirms your login is still valid and the issue is just isolated to the Minecraft site.

2. Try using an incognito/private window

Even after clearing cache, normal sessions can sometimes carry over weird data. Open an incognito or private browser tab, head to minecraft.net, and try logging in from there.

3. Check browser extensions or blockers

Some extensions (like ad blockers, script blockers, or privacy tools) can interrupt login sessions. Try disabling them temporarily to see if it helps.

4. Flush DNS and restart

If you haven’t yet, try flushing your DNS. Just open Command Prompt and type:

ipconfig /flushdns

Then restart your PC and try logging in again.

5. Test in mobile data (if possible)

If you’re using a shared or school/work network, sometimes aggressive firewalls or DNS filtering can interrupt sessions. If you have mobile data, try logging in from there (on a browser or your phone).

If the issue continues after all this, it might be a session bug on Mojang’s/Minecraft’s side. I’ve seen some users report similar issues, and the fix usually happens on their end after a short while.

Have you tried to use a different browser or your browser's incognito/InPrivate mode?

I reported the issue and await a response, I will update this post as soon as I have new information.

What have worked for some users is reseting their computer network settings.

Please, follow these steps:

Press Windows Key + X > Settings > Network & Internet > Advanced Network Settings > Network Reset > Reset Now.

For now, what has 100% worked was logging in via the Xbox Mobile App or Xbox PC App or in the Console itself, as you have tested.

I have the same problem. Does anyone know how to fix it or whats the reason for it. Every time i launch or start a new game i got logged out of my profile. Then once i log back on and leave the game it logs me out again WTF

Whenever it does that to me I just log off and then log back on and magically I can buy again! I don't know if this will fix your problem but it works for me every time.
