When I log in to my account it says you appear to be in a region where this service is not...

I have to report the same problem here.

Logging back into the xBox after returning from vacation it is now reporting service unavailable in my region. When I check the account details as you suggested they are all set to English (UK) exactly as they have been for the past 4 years.

How do we research / report any account corruption to Microsoft?

It doesn't work your servers are definitely broke In my area because my brother also has the same issue

That is really odd considering you are living in UK which Xbox live supports.

Please try to use a VPN (Virtual Private Network) and alter your IP address to the US to check if it works.

Please confirm your Xbox live region by signing your account on account.xbox.com > please click on your gamer picture > press the ellipsis symbol or the three dots (...) > then press the Xbox settings > click on Xbox live 360 region > If the account region is not in UK, please change it to UK.

Also please update your Xbox console to the correction, here's how:

Sign in to your Xbox console.

Press the Xbox button  to open the guide.

Select Profile & system > Settings > System > Language & location.

Select your new country or region from the drop-down list under Location. If you also need to update your system Language or Language region, do so now, and then select Restart now.

Then please update your Microsoft account region as well:

Sign in to your Microsoft account and review your info.

Select Edit profile info.

Update the info under Country/region, State, Postal code, and/or Time zone, as applicable.

Select Save.
