    When I load up a new game it won’t read any inputs on my controller


    Whenever I load up a game that says “press start” or “login” I have to reset my console because it just won’t let me do any button inputs even resetting the game or logging out won’t solve this I have to reset my console every time I switch a game (I am preview ring alpha on Xbox series x)

    I would like you to follow the advice of the above posters in trying a new controller. I would also like to point out that games sometimes take input from idle controllers when starting up. If you seem to be holding left, right, or any direction when starting
    a game up, the input will constantly be used. A simple replug of the controller or restart of the game should fix the problem if that's the case. Happy gaming!

    My Xbox one controller stopped working on the Xbox dashboard.

    Unfortunately, I have not previously connected my app on my phone to my console, and am now unable to do so without any controller input. The controller works just fine when I insert a game disk so that the game automatically launches. But as soon as I hit the home button and the home menu comes up, there’s no controller input except for the home button which will return me to the game. Is there any other way to update the controller firmware without the use of the controller itself?

    Nothing it says disc unreadable, and I followed some steps I seen on YouTube tried it and it said game error try reinstalling game I’ve deleted and downloaded it three times and it will not work twice it worked but when came off line it won’t load up and now it won’t load full stop

    Yeah no other game do i have this issue with the same controller. I dont want to buy a new controller when everything else i play doesnt have this issue and on too of it i downloaded the app on xbl store to check for any issue the input of my controller
    showing no issues at all. Idk, there are a lot of people with this issue even in brand new controllers.
