When I load the legacy Halo disc, it now seems to be sending me online

As said, if you are talking about MCC is a thing. But ‘legacy’ in the halo games means Halo CE, 2 and 3, on the original consoles. So the first xbox and the 360. If that’s the case, then you should be totally able to play it offline.

The original xbox one console is the one from 2013 or the FIRST from early 2000s?

If you are referencing the Master Chief Collection, then recently it has undergone numerous updates. It has completely revitalized the game and now there are many content packs that need to be installed in order for the game to function. This is probably
why the game urges you to go online and install the updates. The entire game update is roughly about 100 gb to date so make sure to set aside some data cap space if you do head online and update it.

Crazy I just clicked on this. For the last few days my XBOX has been messing up.

All day yesterday when I put a disc in it would just shut off. (So I unplugged it and it seemed fine)

Today it took forever for a disc to load... so I restarted. And then it send "Your Kinect is Ready" and told me it wasn't plugged in. So again a complete restart/unplug the console and Kinect seemed to fixed the issue (for now).

Glad I am not the only one experiencing these issues. Hopefully they come out with a fix soon.

Thanks for the suggestion, I didn't even think of that! It seemed to work, and went further into the 343 load screen when loading the 4th mission on Halo 4 then said the disc was unreadable once again.. Annoying! Thanks for the suggestion anyway, starting
to think I may just have to give up with it.

I have borrowed discs from 2 of my friends and neither of them worked for me... I tried downloading to the HDD but I got the same problem, it won't load the online multiplayer mode. Should I send my xbox back in?
