When I had created my account I had unknowingly set incorrect country

Ok, newbie issue. Created a Microsoft account that I never really used then bought a Xbox, had loads of Xbox live credit from years past and added to my account. I had unknowingly set my location to us so the credits redeemed into the US and not uk now when I try and change to ultimate I am unable to as it detects incorrect store.

Can I have assistance in changing this subscription to the uk so I can change my account to ultimate please.

Hi Scott. My name is Kyle and I'm an independent advisor.

Once a subscription has been purchased and activated, it's region cannot be changed. Microsoft balance is also region-specific and cannot be transferred to another region's store. In this case, you'd have to wait until your current Game Pass subscription lapses and then you can resubscribe from the UK store using a UK payment method.

Well it might have to do with the account, which you created. I guess that when you had created an account, you had written in the country section United States.

Im having this problem too(also had it with dishonored) I didnt have any problems downloading saints row a few months ago, I have 3 ways to get it.

a) use DNS codes(you might get a permanent ban)(MS support told me to do this :/)

b) create secondary account with gold(use the free 1 month when creating an account) and set that accounts region to your physical country(I dont know if you can get banned with this)

c) set your account region(account migration, not the locale on the console) to your physical region(in this case the Philippines CAUTION you wont be able to play online cuz our country is not an Xbox live supported country.

Im gonna try remembering my accounts region back then cuz I had no problem downloading Saints row

And knowing Microsoft they will ban your account as you had unknowingly played in a modded lobby.

Once the country has been chosen, It cannot be changed. I accidentally created an account with the country i wasnt in, I tried to see if i could change it and it wasn't possible, Had to create a New Account. My advise is if you want to continue to use your
account, You may need to buy Points/Gold from your Account's origins.
