When I cancel Recurring Billing - the dates don't add up

So let's say you get GPU on the 7th of June, right? If you turn off Recurring Billing, you should have access till July 7, right?

After I switch it off, why does it say I will lose access on July 1? It does this every time if I switch of RB - just goes back a few days. Isn't that cheating? I'm entitled to a full month's subscription whether I keep auto-renewal on or not.

It's the same with EA Access though, it goes back by a day - so 29 days instead of the usual 30.

Is this some kind of bug in the subscription system?

Also I can't see payment/billing options and subscriptions from my console - it keeps giving an error. But I can access it just fine from both my Xbox browser and my PC browser.

No when i got GPU, I didn't have any existing Gold or regular GP.

I was giving that to you as an example. Doesn't mean that I posted right after experiencing the issue. It's an ongoing issue that I've experienced more than once - e.g. dates not adding up.

Are you able to access subscriptions through Settings, btw?

Also, I can't view my subscription and billing information from Settings, but I can view it just fine from both the console's browser and my PC. What gives??

Yes, this is a weird one. When you took out GPU, was it an upgrade from Live gold? I suspect this may have something to do with it, as I did this on the 1st of the month, but it renews on the 14th. Which was my Live Gold renewal date.

Just out of curiosity, you mentioned it states running out on the 1st of July but your post was the 9th. So what happened?

With regards to EA Access, it's a monthly thing. So you would expect it run out the day before it's due for renewal, regardless on how many days there are in that month.

When you turn off recurring billing, you were canceling further charges on your account, which means you’re canceling the subscription.

Your subscription will continue through your next billing date unless you use codes to extend it or reactivate recurring billing

did she cancel Ultimate Game Pass or did she turn off recurring billing/auto renew?

if she only turned off recurring billing then the subscription will continue up to the renewal date
