When downloading a M rated game (Avowed) on gamepass it say my age restriction is set too low.

Can you confirm if you are getting the same error when you try to download other M rated games on the Xbox app? If the issue only happens on Avowed, it could just be a bug.

Please try doing the steps below:

1. Go to Settings > Apps > Look for Xbox app > Advanced Settings > Repair and Reset.

2. Following the same steps, look for Microsoft Store on the list and select Repair and Reset.

3. Go to Xbox app > Click your Profile and Sign out. Sign back in.

After this, try to check if the same issue will occur.

when i go on EA servers it wil say i am under age and when i try downloading a game it will be rated M and i cant download even thought my account is set to adult

That one may be due to his age. EA has age restrictions set on their games. You have to be at least 13 for their games (18 for M rated).

Works now! I also restricted the Guestaccount from using games rated 18 yrs, and set a pincode for that account.

And when my son is logged on that age restriction worked too.

You can't as es goes by your xbox age which also can't be changed. The servers will tell you incorrect age and ask you to fix it

Ea and any private servers can set age restriction that is their legal right. For m rated games the restriction is 18+ hence the rating
