    When did COD Ghosts 360 become non backwards compatible?


    Ghosts is the only game my wife plays with me. We havent played in months due to conflicting work schedules. Now that we are off at the same time again, it says, “Title not backwards compatible”. It even says, “Title not available”, on the store. We even purchased the season pass. So now we are supposed to buy the One version and season pass again?

    Im the only xbox user in the family and have defended xbox for the last 4 years, while these PS and Innuendo(Nintendo) users have dogged Xbox. This gives them more fuel. Ive been a PS man ever since Sega died, but I loved my xbox one until now.

    It's still showing on the Xbox backwards compatibility page. The Store says it's not available to buy, not that it's not BC.

    Do you have it on disc or as a digital purchase?

    Sorry to say but Microsoft decided to not release more backwards compatible games (also, backwards compatible games doesn't depend only on Microsoft, developers needed to give the permission)

    If you're both playing the 360 verisons, it will work.

    How can it be done? I have 360 version of Ghosts, my friend has the One version of Ghost, is there a 360 version of Ghost that can run on One?
    Your friend would have to purchase the game for the 360, since that is what is backwards compatible, and play that version from his One in order to play with you. The One version is seen as a separate version of the game.

    There is no backward compatible version of CoD: Ghost.
    Ghost has been backwards compatible since June.

    Oh and COD Black Ops 1 is now backward compatible. Also deals with gold have tons of COD's on sale. So they may eventually becomes backward compatible as well. Also Red Dead Redemption should eventually be backward compatible.

    It's generally not known if/when a game will become backwards compatible until it actually does become compatible.
    So what should i do? buy a xbox 360 used to just play this game because its still not backwards compatible?
