    Hi! My name is Ben a fellow member here in the community, not from Microsoft. Hope you are doing well!

    Can you tell us what is the exact error message showing when buying the specific game? The only thing I can think of as to why you wouldn't be able to buy the game is if the game is listed under Xbox 360 backwards compatible or if the balance is not enough to cover for the total price of the game including tax.

    But upon checking here, this game seems not a 360 backwards compatible so there should be no problem buying it using Microsoft balance. Can you try buying it again using a browser instead? You can try it on this link https://www.xbox.com/en-US/games/store/cult-of-...

    Just make sure you sign in to the right Xbox account then buy the game again.
