When choosing my profile and entering my password a white screen will appear. I have tried...

Ok, finally figured it out evidently when the update went into effect it logged my profile out completely, so when trying to connect it was not seeing my password. I had to connect to my network manually while not logged in to a profile. Once connected to
the Internet, when I tried to log in to my profile the enter password screen popped up, entered my password and it is keeping me logged in to the profile now.

We understand that you're seeing white screen in signing into your profile. There could be issue with your network or account or console needs update. One possible solution you can try is to clear the cache on your Xbox. Here are the steps to do so:



1. Press and hold the power button on the front of the Xbox until it turns off completely.

2. Unplug the power cable from the back of the Xbox.

3. Wait at least 10 seconds, then plug the power cable back in.

4. Press the power button on the front of the Xbox to turn it back on.



If clearing the cache doesn't work, you may need to perform a factory reset on your Xbox. Please note that this will erase all data on your Xbox, so be sure to back up any important data before proceeding. Here are the steps to perform a factory reset:



1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

2. Select Settings.

3. Select All Settings.

4. Select System.

5. Select Console info & updates.

6. Select Reset console.

7. Select Reset and remove everything.



If you're still experiencing issues after trying these steps, I recommend you try to access your account on Microsoft site: Microsoft account | Home.

Next, if you can sign in without issues then, please try to add another account on your console.

My son entered incorrect passkey several times. It then says to “Try your password instead” when I click on AUTHORISE button to enter password I’m also displayed with this white screen with no way of signing in. Haven’t found a way around it yet. Anybody got any ideas? (Xbox series x)

Same issue here. Suddenly pops up. Myself I try to log in and on the homescreen it then takes me to the password screen and it immediately closes itself again before I can do anything. Tried to bypass it by ejecting the disc and booting up a different game.
There it takes me to the password screen correctly and let's me enter my password, then it simply takes me back to the screen to choose what profile and that is as far as I get. That's literally just it. Checked Xbox Live status and it's all nice and dandy
so that can't be it. Tried two full power cycles to try and fix it but alas, nothing changed.
