When can we expect better Xbox first party title server presence in Africa?

The Cloud service might work, because I expect it to be not much different from a terminal server. BUT first we need that service NOW and not in summer, when enough next-gen titles are released. And second ... if we have to pay a second time for games we
already have, most people won't be interested. So it is to be expected, that a cloud service will become a finacial disaster for MS.

in the case with microsoft you are paying to access a third party server, it is a wall that should not be in place.

when you say free doesnt always mean better, microsoft and sony dont pay third party devs or publishers for the servers, the devs and publishers pay that as its included when you purchase the game.

so in essence microsoft does not pay for the game servers for third party titles and therefore is free to them.

With the launch of the Azure servers in South Africa they will be bringing Xbox Live to more African countries in the future, as for a specific date we can not say at this moment.

Ah that sucks, I looked under the wrong tab it seems. Any reason as to why South Africa is not supported? If so when can we expect it? That was the only reason I upgraded my subscription.

a system is only as secure as the user makes it, all the platforms now have descent security, enabling 2fa is a no brainer these days, but dont forget that third party games pay for their own servers, Microsoft only uses the gold money for their own servers
for first party titles, profiles etc. your still being routed to third party servers when you connect to a third party game.
