    When are you "People" going to do something about fixing the Xbox video freezing ...


    This has been an ongoing issue since the 360.

    I have had it on the 360 and 2 xbox ones.

    Videos constantly freezing and making them unwatchable.

    I have an excellent connection so it is not that.

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app.

    I have no problem with Foxtel or Netflix, only xbox video.

    "Buying" a video and not being able to watch it is **** annoying and a waste of money, which of course xbox doesn't give a flying rodents posterior about, cause they get their money, who cares if the video doesn't work, there are no refunds.

    Xbox video freezing (xbox one)

    My Xbox one freezes and shuts down during any/every video based apps(twitch, upload, Xbox video, etc) I'll be watching a video and about 1minute into it it'll freeze my Xbox and *** it down. Dont know how to fix it

    I have been having similar problems for about 2 weeks now. My video collection for movies and TV shows do not appear on my 360 console in xbox video and I cannot purchase/rent any movies or tv shows and on mine there is no error code... it just acts like
    it is freezing up. It is really getting frustrating. thinking about going to a competitor and giving up on microsoft. When you call xbox for support they say it is a microsoft problem and nothing they can do to fix it and when you call microsoft they say
    it is xbox. All I know is I have spent a lot of money on these movies and I have copies of every transaction on my bank statement and I would love this fixed before I take action.

    I'm having the same issues freezing when backing out ect. A friend of mine has an elite xbox and mentioned that his console isn't freezing up. Maybe its something to do with the different models, but this needs to be addressed, MS please fix this soon, usually
    you guys are pretty good about taking care of things like this.

    Do you have the surround sound setting (which is in beta) in the TV section selected? If you do, the HDMI video feed will definitely freeze with that enabled when you go to an SD channel, which is why the setting is in beta. Surround audio will not work
    with SD channels until Microsoft releases a software update.

    To fix the issue, disable the surround sound setting (which will down mix it back to stereo) and the freezing should go away.
