When you “cancel” a subscription, you’ve essentially turned off “auto-renew”.

The $1 promotion you paid for last year should cover an entire month’s worth of time (~30 days), so you’re still able to play online until the Gold subscription actually expires.

The Xbox One edtion wont be getting the Aquatic update.

Just play the version you have currently for atleast 5 hours, and when or if they do another promotion of the free download you will qualify for it.

But for now it is not possible to get the newer version.
