    What's wrong with the main add on the dashboard?


    The green add on the dashboard that says "Gold members got $460 IN FREE GAMES"; why is it that now every time I go in it and click "Go gold now", I get a *** Xbox live alert message, saying,

    "Some Xbox Live content is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. Status code status code 8b010008"

    I end up getting logged out of Live, having to sign back in. wth? This has been going on for a few days now. What could be wrong?

    What's wrong with the Avatar Store?!

    Everytime I go to get something on the Avatar Store it just says "Sorry, your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete your transaction fr ok m your Xbox."

    It does this even when I'm trying to get something free

    Please help!

    What's wrong with the Avatar Store?!

    If you're using the Xbox One, you'll get this message if you're on a child account or if you do not have a payment method on file (even for free stuff). If payment method is the issue, you need a credit card or Paypal on file. Your Microsoft account balance
    is not seen as a valid payment option for 360 content or avatar content on a One or xbox.com

    Are you on the beta dash? I'm getting this a lot,just click on the big bit that says "join xbox live" or something similar & it should sort itself out.Thats what works for me.

    Hi IlluminatiCreep, sometimes the service can experience an issue for no apparent reason. Usually waiting a few hours will fix the issue. Earlier I personally noticed that Xbox.com wasn't working right but it seems to have fixed itself now. I'd suggest turning
    off your Xbox and then back on again just to reset any connection and wait. I hope that helps, if not, post a reply. :)
