    What’s wrong with my Keyboard on my Xbox?


    This is my problem. When I’m trying to type a sign on Minecraft, it won’t let me select what line to type on. Like when I click return, instead of moving down to the next line, it makes me get out of the sign. What’s wrong with my Xbox keyboard?

    I wouldn’t know if it works on other games because the games I have don’t have the same mechanics as typing on the Minecraft sign. If you need me to go in any game and test it at all, I can do that

    We just need to perform troubleshooting steps.

    To fix this, please perform a power cycle on your console by following the steps below:

    POWERCYCLE CONSOLE​​​

    ​​​

    1. Turn off your console by holding the Xbox button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds. The console will turn off. ​​​

    2. Turn your console back on by pressing the Xbox button on the console or the Xbox button on your controller. ​​​

    Also, if that didn't work and you have another keyboard that you can try, that would be great.

    None of those worked and I don’t have any other keyboard I can use and that’s why I’m seeing if there is a way to fix it
