    What’s wrong with 2fa?


    If you are playing Fortnite on Xbox or perhaps another platform in this case, Xbox. When you first download and open Fortnite, it asked you to link an epic games account or skip and just play Fortnite, epic games links some sort of phantom account to your Xbox account in order for you to play Fortnite, this phantom account is a account created as like an anonymous account with no information attached to it so your Xbox account is compatible with Fortnite. I’ve been trying to enable 2fa to my Xbox account to gift my friend the og battle pass and every time I do, I go on my phone and try to sign in to an epic games account but it takes me to a create an account page and when I try to create an account I enter my Xbox gamer tag and it says it’s in use, that’s because it’s in use by the phantom account, so I’ve been trying to delink that phantom account from my Xbox Fortnite account to hopefully attach another account that I actually created in order for me to access 2fa and see my info and data on that Xbox account and update my epic games account on the Xbox platform, but I have not found a way to get rid of this phantom account.

    Well for one 2fa is not an factor with the form as it is part of the reset proccess

    .also they are looking for the OG info on the account Stuff only thr account holder should know and no they can't tell you what you are getting wrong

    It does not matter how much you spent on an account if you arent passing verification info about the account no-one can hand you the account

    This is set.in the privacy laws

    2fa only affects logins not if you pass account recovery

    Hello again, I understand what you mean, but as I mentioned, if 2FA is active it will not be possible to recover the account.

    We have some similar occurrences in the community regarding 2FA and the information is the same.

    Yes, that is what I´m telling you :(

    Recovering a 2fa method is pretty much impossible without the authentication method(phone or email)
    Or the backup codes given to you when 2fa is first enabled.
