What's with the stupid Avatar Changes?

Now see I know you have a choice but here's the thing, who actually cares? The 360 days yes all the indie games like CastleMinerZ and crash course but that's over no more CastleMinerZ and no point for avatars anymore. Also why would you have to pay for more
outfits and them give you a big [Mod Removed – Profanity].
you that you can't use your old outfits. I personally like the old ones better and will continue to use them but I want to hear what others think about these?

What's wrong with the Avatar Store?!

Everytime I go to get something on the Avatar Store it just says "Sorry, your account is unable to make this type of purchase on Xbox.com. Please complete your transaction fr ok m your Xbox."

It does this even when I'm trying to get something free

Please help!

If you're using the Xbox One, you'll get this message if you're on a child account or if you do not have a payment method on file (even for free stuff). If payment method is the issue, you need a credit card or Paypal on file. Your Microsoft account balance
is not seen as a valid payment option for 360 content or avatar content on a One or xbox.com

 

I think it's a fun little feature some will love and use. Others wont be interested and that's all good. They dont have to be. I had a play around yesterday. Choice isn't too bad. Personally I wont use them but I think they will be pretty popular
with younger xbox users.

 

I'm sure there's people who like expressing themselves with their avatar and for them, the more options the better.

And as you pointed out, you can still use the old ones if you dont like the new ones so i dont really see any negatives to this. Just go with whatever floats your boat.

 

They have updated the system to allow additional options of avatar configuration.

Add others have mentored ,it is optional and can be ignored if you don't like it .

 

Just remember you can keep the old avatar you had.

 

I select "use old avatar" but it keeps loading.... It just won't show my old avatar.

 

I think its cool, there isn't anything saying they won't bring old clothes up to the new model. Additionally we could see new games start to use the new avatars.

 

I was a bit upset that I couldn't use my old avatar content on the new avatars as well. I'm glad we can still use our old avatars if we want. Personally, I don't really care much about avatars, but it's nice to see an upgrade for those that do care.

 

I like the range of the customization with the new Avatars but I would love for the older outfits to be able to be put on them. I wish there was a way to combine both of them.
