    What's up with the Microsoft Console Companion?


    So, the MCC informs me that it's being replaced with the new beta xbox app...unfortunately it links to the gamepass app. I REALLY enjoy streaming from my xbox one x to my surface pro and would like to continue to have that functionality (or the android
    remote/xcloud streaming for windows). Is there any clear idea from Microsoft what their plans are?

    You can install the Xbox Console Companion app through the Microsoft Store app. Open the Microsoft Store app then input at the top part of the app "Xbox Console Companion, it should show up as available to install.

    Make sure that you're logged in with your Microsoft Account in the Xbox Console Companion. That should link up with the game pass and log you in automatically

    My xbox console companion is updated. The last update was this week from Microsoft store. I uninstall the xbox console companion using the procedure mentioned above. It did not work.
