What's up with all the freezing blank screens after the update???

Are any of you other xbox supporters and gamers experiencing terrible time wasting console lock up after the new UI update? I have reset my console 10 times at a time and eventually had to unplug it. Also apps just disappear from my pins. XBox neeeeeds to
get this fixed ASAP. I can barely enjoy playing a game these days.

    :)

    Fixed Greenscreen/Blackscreen problem

    Hello all,

I had a problem with the system freezing on the start up screen (green with Xbox logo). After a few restarts, the green startup screen wouldn't even come up anymore, the screen would just go blank as if the TV was off. Anyway, after dealing with Xbox support
over the past couple days I tried this and it worked......Lucky for you Microsoft I was getting sooooooooooo mad haha! I hope this helps!

What do you mean by "just stopped working" Is the app loading at all, freezing, blank screen, etc?

    Update error

After the most recent update, 9/2/2014, my Xbox 360 is suffering video and sound problems. The graphics will cut out (blank screen), and/or freeze with a pixilated screen. The sound is now cutting out intermittently. I haven't found a remedy. The unit
    worked flawlessly before the update.

Would it Kill them to patch freezing issues?

    [quote user="Arkham99"]

What I found helped was starting the game BEFORE I sign into XBOXLive, once you see the writing appear on the screen, then sign in, for some odd reason if I sign in first, it often freezes up and I see a blank screen, try it, it may work for you too...:)

This is what I do also DutRank - start game up when at press start screen login then works for me every time. I have the same problem if I'm signed in and start game up I get the Blank Screen Freeze every time.

    blank screen after update

Hi Greg, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

In this case, we just need to reset your console keeping your games and apps through the Xbox Troubleshooter page. Don't worry because as long as you're connected to Xbox Live your saved progress, games, will not be deleted. It will remove all of your accounts but you can add all of them later on.

Make sure to follow the steps accordingly to access it:

    1. Unplug the network cable if you're using a wired network connection.

    2. Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

    3. Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

    4. Press and hold the Pair button (located on the left side of the console) and the Eject button (located on the front of the console), and then press the Xbox button on the console.

    5. Continue holding the Pair and Eject buttons for 10-15 seconds.

    6. Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the Pair and Eject buttons after the second power-up tone.

When the console powers up, you will see the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter. Please click on "Reset this Xbox" then "Reset and keep my games and apps".
